What if an email gets lost?

This is exactly why we have developed the Message board on myCSI. You messages will never get lost or get to spam. Since emails unfortunately sometimes do get lost, please make sure to log in to myCSI and check your message board every now and then.

What is the difference between registration and application?

Registration to myCSI happens only once, giving your email address and a password. However an application form has to be filled out each year depending on the role you choose for the specific year's Summer Institute.

I have already filled out a myCSI application in a previous year. Do I have to fill it out again this year?

Although your registration may still be valid, You will have to apply again, because things might have changed since your last application, and we would like to have up-to-date information about you and your skills.

Please check the timetable for the application period and deadlines of your chosen role. If you are trying before or after the application period, myCSI won't let you start.

The new myCSI application system allows you to work on your application form for as long as you like. However there is a point when you have to finish filling out your application form and submit it so that we know that you are ready with it. Your application form is valid from this point on.

What if I have to change some data after having submitted my application form?

Some fields can be modified even after having submitted your application, such as: your password, address, phone number, invoice data, emergency contact. You will also be able to access the Files page.

Registration fee should be paid within 8 days from submitting your application form. Please note that your application form will not be valid without your registration fee paid. We would also like to remind you that if your registration fee does not arrive in time, myCSI system will automatically delete your application.

Why do I have to send you a message about the participant's name if somebody else makes the payment for me?

The amounts paid are credited to our account. In those cases where the sender is different from the participant and there are no details sent with the payment, it is extremely hard, sometimes impossible to identify which applicant is the beneficiary of the payment.
